KADY IS HERE
Courtney and I are proud to announce the (early) arrival of our daughter, Kadyn Marie Sturgeon. She surprised us by showing up 5 1/2 weeks early. She was born at 5:10 am on 11/11, and weighed 5 lbs. Kady spent 7 days in the NICU, but is doing great and has been home with us since 11/18. Courtney is also doing great, (looking incredible after only two weeks), and I am the happiest/proudest daddy on the planet.
Grandma Debbie is here with us until 12/7, (wearing a permanent smile!!), and my parents and sister are coming out to visit on 12/13. I will be adding many new pictures of Kady, so stay tuned for updates.

Here I am at the beginning of 30 weeks!!!!!! Only 10 more to go. Kadyn is kicking up a storm, mainly on the right side of my stomach. So, I'm assuming her soccer legs are on that side. I've gained 23 lbs., scary. The nursery is about half way done, I'll put pictures up when it's finished.
I went to the coast this weekend. I got to see my best friend Jessica Treadway and we had a great time. The weather was surprisingly amazing. It was a little chilly but not a cloud in the sky. We got lucky.

27 Weeks, Only 13 To Go!!!!!!!
Michael and I have started putting some of Kadyn's things together, so now we're on the verge of killing each other. Just kidding. But we did have to take the stupid Pack 'n Play apart twice because we put some of the parts together upside down. =) Also, if you notice she already has more clothes than we do. I'm getting larger and chubbier as Michael puts it. My next doctor's appointment is on October 3rd and my baby shower is on October 25th.

My mom's in town, and we have been shopping up a storm for the new arrival. Our house is still a mess, of course, so putting the nursery together will have to wait awhile. We've been having fun though getting ideas for it. However, they've been discussing what kind of wine they want to drink with dinner tonight.................RUDE!!!! =) Here's some new belly pics, only 17 more weeks to go!

No More Mint Green and Orange House!!!

I do believe I have the greatest husband in the world. I came home from work on Friday to be surprised with the joy of no longer being the owner of a mint green home. Michael spent all day Friday by himself painting the outside a light gray/very light blue color. The name of the color is winter storm. I helped him do the trim on Saturday and Sunday, which is a dark charcoal color and then the shutters and the front door will be black. We still have a little left to do, but it looks soooooooo much better. When it's all done we'll post some pictures, but I wanted to wait until it was finished. Thanks to him our little Kady will not have to come home to green and orange. The reason it was such a surprise is because with all we had going on with the house we thought we wouldn't get to paint this summer and I was pretty upset about that. We're very pleased with the way it turned out!!!

IT'S GOING TO BE A GIRL!!!!!!!!
Well, the verdict is in and we are..................oh my gosh, having a girl. Micheal's been a little weak in the knees since the announcement of the sex at the ultrasound. She's very healthy and weighs in at a big 13 oz. My new pet name from Michael is now chunky butt. It fits though, I seem to be growing daily.
Our house is still in shambles, but progress is being made ever so slightly each week.

Stupid plumbing...
Don't forget to tip your plumber, or this can happen to you!! We came home a few weeks ago to an inch of water all over our house. It's not good when it happens. A pipe busted under the kitchen sink, and now we are replacing all our floors, subfloors, cabinets, etc. It's a freakin' mess.
Anyway, instead of living in a hotel for 6 weeks, we are now livin' the RV dream. Gus and Annie are not crazy about the RV, but are adjusting. Needless to say, it is getting challenging for the "chubby" (prego) girl to get around the tiny RV. Enjoy the pics of our new castle.

Our first blog
We have both now entered into the decade known as the 30's! I'm handling the transition better than Courtney is. Even though she still gets carded more.
We are looking forward to our upcoming adventure to Yellowstone. It will be our families first trip to Montana.
Michael's job is going well, and Courtney is starting her new challenge at the Oregon Eye Consultants.
Annie & Gus are crappy as ever, and probably looking forward to us leaving them alone for a week in June.
